Outline:
Photo editing is as crucial as taking the picture and helps you make
the most of your images. Most of the images you see today have
been edited in some way.
We’ll show you how to resize, crop, rotate, save to web or print.
Change exposure on parts or the whole picture, how to easily and
accurately select areas of the image so you can change it to black
and white, manually colour it or cut out the background and replace
it with another. We’ll also show you ways of removing sensor dust,
unwanted elements, darken skies, add skies, sepiarise and colorise.
You will also discover the benefits of mastering layers, and see how
to blend them, merge images into composites, add text, to create
new and better images.
Learn also how to sharpen using unsharp mask, add filters and
introduce digitally created skies and lighting effects, work with
levels and curves, create adjustment layers and edit non-destructively.
Every step of the way, even the very smallest, will be shown so you
can easily follow and use the techniques yourself when you get back
home. You can even copy the steps on a laptop with your own images
as the day progresses if you wish. Nothing is missed out, the methods
shown will work your own pictures.
Perfect for beginners or those with some experience. You do not need
to have Adobe Photoshop to attend this event – as most editing
programmes offer the same features.
